Your certification according to § 20 SGB V
Especially for manufacturers of medical devices that offer a self-learning program based on information and communication technology in the form of a medical app (e.g. back sports, stress management, quitting smoking, etc.), certification as a prevention product according to § 20 SGB V can often be worthwhile. Certified prevention products are partially or in some cases completely reimbursed by almost all health insurance companies even without an individual selective contract. The certification itself is carried out by the Zentrale Prüfstelle Prävention (ZPP), a cooperative association supported by the statutory health insurance funds.
Step 1: Product Analysis
We analyze your ICT-based app and the services offered. From this we derive the possibilities of a § 20 certification. For the application to the ZPP, we individually compile a checklist for the requirements to be met by you and the documents to be produced.
Step 2: Certification Support
Within the scope of the certification procedure, we support you in submitting the application and during the ongoing procedure. In close consultation with you, we solve any queries that may arise. After successful completion of the procedure, your app is certified as a prevention product and can be listed and thus funded by health insurance companies.
Step 3: Evaluation
The certificate is initially granted for only one year in line with legal requirements. Within this time you have to evaluate your product. Only an evaluation that meets the legal requirements will lead to a recertification of the app. QuR.digital can support you in meeting this requirement with the "Digital-Active-Study" (DAS).
